homograph postcards

Homographs are words that are spelled the same, but have different meanings. In this series of postcards, I use illustration over top of photos to convey the double meanings of three different words. ‘Shot’ references a syringe and needle, as well as a shot of liquor. ‘Plant’ shows a photo of a power plant with various stems and flowers growing out of it. Lastly, ‘match’ shows two matching matches. On the back of each postcard, you can find the definitions for each word.
